Hi!
I’m Jovan de Melo, a Brazilian, London-based Art Director with a focus on design for animation.

With a background in graphic design, I joined Copa Studio in 2010, where I worked as a designer, art director, director, and member of the studio’s creative team, contributing to the development of original animated projects.

In 2019, I moved to the UK to join Blue Zoo, working across a range of productions as a background designer, character designer, and art director.

My graphic design foundation continues to influence my work strongly, shaping a stylised approach with a clear emphasis on shape, colour, and visual clarity.

I’m currently working as an Art Director at Blue Zoo Animation Studio
