I helped shape the show’s visual identity, contributing to its overall look and feel. My work included creating concept art, early background designs, and character design explorations.
Concepts
To contrast the show’s “tech” theme, we wanted the world to feel fun, vibrant, and clearly separate from reality—a place where the characters could explore locations from the past, present, and future.
We aimed for a bold, colorful look, using simple shapes and geometric patterns to create a strong, iconic style. The visual approach featured linework in areas closer to the characters, which gradually faded away as elements receded into the distance, helping guide focus and add depth to the world.
Character Design
I helped design the secondary characters of the “computer world,” the Naries (binary), inspired by zeros and ones. To keep them playful and versatile, we developed simple base shapes that could be customized with different “clothes and accessories” allowing us to create entirely new characters for each episode, from vikings to robots, while keeping a cohesive and iconic visual style.
